Pfungstadt and Vaihingen/Enz sovereign - Kafertal in marathon mode
Mannheim (DFBL/aga). In the Men's 1st Bundesliga South, TV Käfertal won the next match over nine sets. TVK took two points from Calw with 5:4. TSV Pfungstadt, TV Vaihingen/Enz and TV Waldrennach also won points.
TSV Calw - TV 1880 Kafertal 4:5 (11:9, 15:13, 6:11, 7:11, 7:11, 8:11, 11:8, 11:6, 10:12)
In summery temperatures, both teams did not really give each other much. Spectators and fans had to go through a roller coaster of emotions several times. At first, TSV secured the first two sets and was virtually swimming on a wave. This is the forecast that bookmakers had the highest odds on the legal IPL betting app. Then the hour of the TVK struck, with continuous playing time the Kurpfälzer adjusted themselves better to the opponent, and provided with powerful attack play for a silencing of the Calwer fan block. In the second break, Thomas Stoll seemed to have hit the nerve in his speech. The Calw Express got going more and more and in a short time put the score at 4:4. In the ninth set it was then an open exchange of blows with changing minimal leads - at the end of which after almost three hours of play there were two more points for the TVK.
TSV Pfungstadt - TV SW-Oberndorf 5:0 (11:6, 11:6, 11:5, 11:8, 11:7)
Pfungstadt in Hesse also treated itself to a match day in the blazing sun. TSV continued where they had left off in the previous matches. The TVO without Oliver, Bauer never really found into the game and so the white vest of TSV continues to stand on the table
TV Vaihingen/Enz - TV Unterhaugstett 5:1 (11:5, 11:5, 4:11, 11:5, 11:4, 11:5)
The TVV is still on course for the qualification tournament for the DM. Also against TVU the young team of TVV was convincing and had the match safely under control. TVV did not allow more than five points in any of the sets.
TV 1865 Waibstadt - TV Waldrennach 2:5 (8:11, 8:11, 11:8, 8:11, 9:11, 11:9, 6:11)
The TV Waldrennach gets the first two points of the season. Over long stretches dominate the Black Forest, the TV Waibstadt on its own facility. The set results were all close, but at the right time, the TV Waldrennach pulled again and again easily.
Preview
On Thursday (Ascension Day), the two still undefeated teams of the southern division face each other. A year ago, TV Käfertal was able to inflict the only defeat in the national round on TSV Pfungstadt. Certainly a gash, which the exceptional team from the Hessian would like to make forgotten.
An open and exciting match can certainly be expected when the two teams, whose declared goal for the season is to participate in the DM in Brettorf, face each other. Currently, the Kurpfälzer are on a run, winning both close matches against TV Vaihingen/Enz and against TSV Calw in nine sets, and have thus gained a lot of self-confidence. Meanwhile, TSV acted confidently, but was not really challenged yet either.
At the Baden State Gymnastics Festival in Lahr, the prestigious duel will take place from 2 p.m. onwards. There will also be a parallel broadcast on Sportdeutschland.TV. An illustrious round with several world, European and World Games champions will be on the court. The match is one of the big headliners of the gymnastics festival and a large crowd is hoped for.
Also on Thursday, TV Waldrennach will play TSV Calw for supremacy in the Black Forest.
On Saturday and Sunday there will be more games: TV Käfertal will play Schweinfurt/Oberndorf on their own court. If TVO will leave the court as loser, it will be difficult to reach the qualifying tournament for the DM. The TV Waibstadt receives the favorite from Pfungstadt.
